<strong> My daughter, who is in 5th grade, is home for winter vacation for 2 weeks and it is eerily reminiscent of summer vacation:</strong> too much TV, too much Minecraft, too much Youtube.<strong> You know what? I don't give a shit. She is fine</strong>. She actually needs to zone out after working so hard, in school, 5 days a week.<strong> The teachers deserve medals as do the kids. </strong> She's been lucky to be at a school with the ability to have full-time, in person education. It's a small school with small classes and they have done a tremendous job keeping our kids, not only safe, but happy and curious in their education. While she told me today she is ready to go back, I have a feeling she will make the most of the rest of the vacation before heading back in 2021.
