Talk about something exciting that's happening right now, and why it's exciting.

<strong> As part of my anxiety management strategy, I like to track numbers</strong>. Numbers provide facts and you can't argue with them. So recently<strong> I've been tracking the vaccine rates in Spain because that's where my family and friends are.</strong> <strong> As of next week, the part of Spain I"m going to, the Basque Country, will have the same level of vaccinated people as the US.</strong> Not quite as high as the area I'm from, but they are close to hitting 50% of people fully vaxxed. They are also opening up the vaccine to all adults as of this week.<strong> People are really eager to get vaxxed here,</strong> so I think the numbers will keep rising quickly. I suspect Spain, or at least this part of it, will reach something close to herd immunity by the end of the summer.<strong> I'm happy for my friends, and family and this community, because Spain has really suffered badly--economically and with loss of life.</strong> So I think this is exciting...that things will be so much safer for people.
