Got my Covid booster shot on Friday. Mild headache and body aches for the next four days but worth it completely. Another week and I am considered fully vaccinated though there is some talk of a another booster in the fall but those vaccines should really go to countries with much lower vaccination rates. Canada is sitting at about 80% of the available population with first shots, almost 40% have their boosters. Good numbers and right now the current numbers of positive cases is pretty low. For comparison the UK has 27x our new case numbers but their population is only roughly twice ours. Oh and the Olympics will be spectator free since Tokyo is now under a state of emergency through the games…both professional sports and this whole Olympics issue have gotten way too good a ride through the pandemic. Sports as a form of exercise is great, allowing pro sports to carry on the way it has and the fucking IOC insisting the games go on is one of the things I truly truly hate about society as a whole right now.so much money and energy focused on sports when our healthcare systems and students stuck at home,etc etc, suffered. Fucking disgrace!!
